Jeff Packer MSW, RSW

Jeff is happily married to Susan, his loving wife of over twenty-three years. They have three children, Daniel, Hannah and Andrew. Jeff has coached for fifteen years in the NASC soccer association, is an active member in his church and
assists in developing local social service initiatives.

Jeff obtained his Master of Social Work degree from the University of Toronto in 1991, specializing in clinical individual, couple/marital and group counselling, and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology & Sociology from York University (1989). Over the past nineteen years Jeff has provided professional counselling and psychotherapy services in his private practice, with the Charles H. Best Diabetes Centre, Whitby Mental Health Centre, Durham Family Court Clinic, Catholic Family Services and the John Howard Society. In addition, he has attended extensive training programs on marriage and family therapy, diabetes & treatment adherence, trauma and recovery, eating disorders, abuse & domestic violence, criminal behaviour and rehabilitation, parenting and parent-child
behavioural adjustment, sexuality, substance misuse/addictions and separation and divorce adjustment. He is active in the development, training and delivery of
men’s/fathering workshops. Jeff has provided training services across Canada and has taught counselling skills, social work and human relations training at local colleges. He also provides clinical supervision, consultation and public speaking. Jeff is a Fellow of the American Orthopsychiatric Association, is a registered social worker with the OCSWSSW and has been a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers and Canadian Association of Social Workers for nineteen years. Peter Duffy MSW, RSW

Peter and his wife of eighteen years, Mary, have four children between seven
and seventeen years of age. Peter also has co-parented his first three children
who are between twenty-two and twenty-eight years of age. He is also
grandfather of two. Peter is an active member of the Knights of Columbus and
his church and he is involved in several community service initiatives. He
attained his Bachelor degree in Social Work from Ryerson University, and his
Master degree in Social Work from York University. Over the last twelve years, Peter has worked in various agencies in the GTA, providing counselling and psychotherapy with Jeff Packer MSW & Associated Inc., facilitating groups and providing counselling to individuals, families, couples, and teens. He has been involved professionally with various agencies including: the Durham Family
Court Clinic, The John Howard Society, Catholic Community Services, Lakeridge Health Corporation, Association for Community Living, Eva’s Place Youth Shelter, and the Fathering Involvement Initiative. Peter has also received additional training through workshops and seminars in the areas of addiction, brief solution-focused therapy, domestic violence, cooperative parenting and divorce, fathering, parent/child behaviour, relationships and couple counselling. He is active in the development, training and delivery of men’s/fathering workshops. Peter is registered with OCSWSSW as a Social Worker and has been a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers and Canadian Association of Social Workers for twelve years.
