Fees
Consider the time, effort and money put into counselling at Jeff Packer MSW & Associates Inc. as an investment into your personal growth family wellness and improving health and relationships.
After the initial ninety-minute intake meeting, one-hour session fees are $200* (60 minutes).
The ninety-minute initial consultation/assessment session fee is $300*
Many people choose to schedule longer sessions depending upon the issues and the number of people attending. Most commonly, 90 to 120 minutes is booked for initial assessments, intake and family meetings. This allows sufficient time to explore your concerns, goals and strengths thoroughly. In addition, we can provide feedback about initial strategies and solutions along with information about approaches that can help you in your specific situation.
Payment can be made through the JANE app (preferred, please); however, other arrangements can be made if necessary. Please get in touch with admin@jeffpacker.com or speak with your therapist.
Services to assist those with difficulty or inability to pay can be discussed case-by-case. Please let your counsellor know if you have financial limitations that may prevent your ability to participate in counselling. We may offer a sliding scale fee arrangement or recommend participating in our Food 4 Thought Thursdays program.
Note: You may have some coverage with your insurance provider. However, insurance policies vary, and we suggest checking to see if master’s level Social Workers and Psychotherapists are covered. Receipts are provided upon payment, that can be submitted to your insurer (direct billing is not available).
Cooperative Parenting and Reunification (CPR) Program
The CPR program is not currently being offered.
Parenting after separation and divorce session fees, (for separated parents/caregivers to develop an effective structure for co-parenting, parent-child reunification, and parent coordination services), are $270 per household = $540 for ninety minutes sessions. These sessions are ninety minutes or longer in duration each visit.
Our fees are payable upon booking the initial sessions of the CPR assessment phase. Upon agreeing to participate in the CPR program (Phase 2 &3), each parent is required to have a credit card on file. More information is available on the CPR disclosure and consent form, and can be discussed with your therapist.
You may also want to schedule longer meetings at times, both to discuss your concerns and goals and to more quickly develop your specific change strategy and further develop solutions. Longer sessions are also recommended when more people are attending eg. family sessions of three or more participants. Please request longer session times in advance.
Reading of materials for assessment purposes, summary letters, extensive emails, the release of notes* and report writing will be billable at rates quoted. Court-related reports are ideally reviewed and edited in session (to clarify content and ensure accuracy). Payment is required prior to receipt of the report. Usually, this process can be completed within two to four weeks from the date of your request and payment. Fees may be reduced or waived for these services in special situations at the discretion of your therapist.
Receipts are provided for all payments.
